Biomass and the solutions it provides for alternative and environmentally-friendly fuels in addition to the independence from fossil fuels are coming to the forefront, since technological applications in greek reality are not limited anymore and can create new jobs as well as business opportunities for the engineers and local communities.
The Greek Women’s Engineering Association continues its activities about energy topics and organises on Tuesday 18th September 2012 a conference-set of informative sessions (16:30-20:30) under the title ‘Green Energy from Biomass’ with presenters from Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES), National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), research Institutes, companies, etc.
The Conference will cover all the spectrum of energy generation from biomass sources (namely solid biofuels, liquid biofuels, bio-gas).
